Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm is the UK´s largest butterfly farm opened in 1985 by David Bellamy where the tropical environment is simulated inside of the greenhouses. Visitors can enjoy watching hundreds of colorful butterflies flying all around. Besides the Flight Area there is the Caterpillar Room, the Insect City and the Arachnoland which hosts the world´s largest spiders.
Of course, you can also buy a souvenir in the Gift Shop. The farm is beautifully arranged so one can see vast green gardens, ponds, and butterflies enjoying the flowers. There are also different types of birds flying freely through the garden. Various types of fish swim in the ponds and in aquariums. Visitors are allowed to take pictures of the beautiful animals.
