Top Georgetown Tours

This tour to Georgetown, a UNESCO certified World Heritage City (2008) will commence from Kuala Lumpur and will include a night's stay in Georgetown, Penang. Transport will be by air-conditioned car or van depending on the number of persons in the party. The cost will depend on the number of persons but a minimum of 2 persons will be required for this tour.

Accommodation in a hotel in Georgetown is required at own expense. 

We shall drive to Georgetown from Kuala Lumpur, passing through the royal town of Kuala Kangsar, Perak to visit the beautiful and fascinating Ubudiah Mosque, reputedly the most beautiful mosque in Malaysia.

We shall then board a ferry boat to take us across the Straits of Malacca to Georgetown, Penang Island.

After checking into our hotel, we shall begin visiting the many heritage sites which won the coveted certification from UNESCO as a World Heritage City in 2008. At night, we shall enjoy the popular food hotspot of Gurney Drive where mouth-watering street food awaits.

The next day, we shall continue with the tour and also visit Penang Hill and the spectacular Kek Lok Si Temple and Batu Ferringhi beach front before heading back to Kuala Lumpur in the evening. The drive will take about 4-5 hours each way.

3 days and 2 nights in Penang and Kelantan Tour

For this tour, you will explore chinese and muslim malay dominated states, Penang and Kelantan. Each state offers different cultures and buildings.

On day 1, we start our tour in Penang. We shall visit following places:

- UNESCO Heritage City Site, George Town covers Pinang Peranakan Mansion, Khoo Kongsi, temples, mosques, some museums and murals

- Thai and burmese temples in Pulau Tikus, Kek Lek Si temples and Penang Hill

On day 2, we proceed to Kelantan. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours. On the journey to Kelantan, we shall stop at Belum rest stop where you will have a chance to see to mountain view and have some drinks.

In Kelantan, we visit a chinese architecture mosque in Rantau Panjang. Then we shall proceed to Tumpat for thai architecture buddhist temples.

On day 3, we visit Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah and some museums in Kota Bharu. The tour shall end in Penang. If you wish to visit other states, it can also be arranged.
