Holkham Hall is built in the 1750s in a Palladian style, and it is a member of the Treasure Houses which is a group of ten beautiful palaces, castles, and houses in England today. The Hall is privately owned. Its furniture, paintings, and manuscripts were loaned to museums from all around the world.
The most spectacular rooms of the Hall are the Marble Hall, the Statue Gallery, the Parrot Room, the Libraries, the Saloon, the Landscape Room, the Chapel, the Green State Bedroom, the North State Sitting Room, and the Old Kitchen.
A beautiful Park surrounds the Hall in which live herds of Fallow and Red Deer. There are Park, Lake, and Farm Walks available for the visitors. The trails are marked and even dogs are welcome to the park if kept on a lead at all times.
