Me and my husband spent 3 days with Daniel and he brought us to visit the Longji Rice Terrace on the first day. Daniel was very knowledgeable about the different minority groups there and the way of life and farming activities performed. And he brought us on trails that normal tour groups would not be bringing you. On the 2nd day, we went on a cycling tour around Yangshuo and got to see firsthand the farming community around the area and the natural beauty of the area. Daniel ensure we got to cycle at our own pace without pressuring us to hurry and was very patient with all our numerous photo stops. Our final day he brought us to Silver Cave which was awesomely beautiful but the best part of the day was the nice long boat ride down the Li River. Thanks Daniel for the wonderful time and your warm hospitality!  Most everyone told me it's not worth it to go to Longji Rice Terrace in winter, but Daniel certainly proved them all wrong for it was beautiful even without the golden rice.

We have just finished a fantastic 4 day trip with Daniel. We're a family with young kids age 11,9 and 6 and Daniel was great with the kids too. He organised everything whilst allowing lots of input and decisions from us during the trip and suggesting changes due to the weather and taking me carefully through options to make for the very best outcomes. We spent a half day seeing some nice parts of Guilin then two days in the beautiful Longsheng Rice Terraces and a day and a half in Yangshuo. The hiking and cycling was amazing, the scenery stunning. Daniel has excellent knowledge, very good English and is diligent and friendly. He sets the bar very high for other guides trips we are taking in other parts of China. He also priced the trip to make it good value and where the weather forced changes in included costs he was very open and careful to cover other costs and explain it all to me so we weren't at all out of pocket. Simply brilliant! Thank you again Daniel.

We spent two days with Daniel as our tour guide and I would be happy to recommend him. The first day we went from Guilin to the Longji rice terraces, which we enjoyed. The second day was spent cycling near Yangshuo. Here Daniel was clearly in his element as he guided us around for a lovely day. We spent the day cycling down local paths, between the rice fields and to see old scenic bridges. Daniel was even kind enough to ride back to find my daughter's hat when we realised it had gone missing!

We spent 3 days with Daniel in Guilin and Yangshuo from 7/4 to 9/4/14.

His knowledge of Yangshou and the history of the places which we visited made our visit most enjoyable. Thanks to him ,we got to enter the villagers’ houses in JiuXian  ,something which we would not have dreamt of and from which we learnt first- hand about their way of life .

Daniel is a keen photographer and has an eye for the best spots to take photos and the sceneries in YangShuo are breath-taking. His tour was really personalised for us from start to finish- raft for the 3 of us, start and finish time according to our wishes , showing us to Dr. Lily’s for reflexology centre, etc. We also appreciated the 5th. row seats which he bought for us for the San Lui Jie show and from where we enjoyed the best view all along. On the day of our departure, Daniel took the trouble to come & say good-bye with parting gifts and also arranged for the transport to take the highway for a more comfortable journey from YangShuo to Guilin airport!

We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone interested to visit YangShuo & Guilin.

I had two nice days in Yangshuo guided by Daniel. He is an excellent local guide who knows the Yangshuo country-side very well. Since being a Farmer himself, he is very familiar with the lifestyle of the local people and he has a very good grasp of the Chinese history and culture. He also handles the English language well to explain the local habits to English-speaking tourists. I recommend him to everybody who wants to learn more about this area of China.
