We are four adults, aged 59, from the US.  We LOVED every aspect of our time spent with Jack.  He is so fun and on the ball.  We would totally book with Jack again.  I have traveled the world.. and as I told Jack, I have NEVER, had any person be SO concise with there response to me on email!  SO prompt.  All I have to say.. I wish he could be my guide every where in the world I ever want to go.. which is what brings me back to this site.. he, unfortunately, doesn't guide in Cuba! 

Thank you jack for everything you did for us! We loved spending time with you and appreciate your organization and great guiding. You made our time in Guillin and Yangshuo unforgettable, fun and special. Loved the rafting on beautiful rivers, minority villages, and efficient transfers. You are truly a gem, so patient, knowledgeable, and courteous...truly one of the best guides I have every spent time with. As a serious photographer I am always looking for new exotic locations to photograph and Yangshuo was on the top of my priority list however I had concerns as to how accessible a location like this would be to someone like myself from an English speaking non-Asian country.

My initial worry with seeking help from a tour guide was with respect to their understanding of the awkward hours photographers need to be ‘on location’ – we need to be there before first light and after sunset. Jack was incredibly understanding of this fact and helped me put together a very detailed itinerary of remarkable locations all of which he would ensure I would be on location for when the light was right.

Jacks English is excellent and when I arrived Jack had absolutely everything organised, from transfers to accommodation and he ensured my entire trip was geared towards what was important to me. Now that I am safely back in my home country, Australia, I can look back on the trip and know with absolute certainty that it would have been impossible for me to do a photography trip such as this, with so many great locations, without Jack.

We were very happy to have Jack as our tour guide for Guilin area, amazing Longji rice terraces, breathtaking Li river and relaxing Yangshuo countryside.  Jack is easy to understand and provides excellent customer service.  He is very organized and provided us with a detailed agenda via email weeks before our trip.

Jack's suggestions and recommendation were very good and appreciated. He really does know all the best places to visit! He brought us to great restaurants for lunch and was very courteous to give us some "family time" during our meals. Jack's arrangements with his driver could not have been better.  Our driver's timing when picking us up after an event was always perfect. 

Jack knows the area very well and is able to educate us with history and customs as well as answer any question we had. We went out of his way to accommodate our spur of the moment requests. He even had my camera repaired after I accidently dropped it down a cliff (which he went to retrieve!).  We could not have had a better guide.  We traveled with our 13 year old daughter and she was most comfortable with Jack, as she has a special interest in photography, they really got along well.

Please do not hesitate to book Jack's services as he is very good at what he does. 

I hope that one day Jack and his family have the opportunity to travel to Canada, so we can welcome him to our home.

Jack provides a very professional tour guide service. I find his approach to be very accommodating to his clients. The ability to tailor his client’s tour needs is excellent.
First of all Jack is very prompt when it comes to pre arranged times, providing transportation and all necessary tickets for every location in advance. When not available, no need to worry, one of his associates will be there to take you around. I just completed a four day tour of both Guiling and Yangshuo areas on Nov 4, 2012 and I really appreciated his knowledge of the best locations I wanted. Jack is pleasant and has a great sense of humor, he also speaks very good English. Thanks to Jack my photography trip was a great success.

We have just completed a tour with Jack that lasted 6 days in the Guilin / Yangshuo area and we are very satisfied.
